I was reading some one of the blogs that I follow and I found this.

“The Prophet Joseph Smith said, “If men do not comprehend the character of God, they do not comprehend themselves.” Knowing who you are—who you really are—is closely tied to knowing God, for you are His children.” (Pres. James E. Faust, Who Do You Think You Are?) Just as we inherited certain traits from our earthly parents we inherited divine traits from our Heavenly Parents – goodness, mercy, kindness, compassion, love, virtue, charity, and more.

It is interesting how our Lord directs us to the things we need. I have been struggling lately. It has been really hot and humid here. I left New England and really shouldn't have to deal with humidity anymore, but alas it is so dang sticky, I feel like walking around with a bath towel to get dry. I am also getting to that time in the summer were I just want to leave. We usually go somewhere in the summer but with Marc starting a new job it just hasn't been feasible. Plus I am hot. Did I mention that? I am not sure why I am so punky lately but I need to turn to my Lord more so that I can learn to know myself better.
