Quilting Class

Here is some of the fabrics that are going to be my new lap quilt. I have been taking a quilting class through church the last few weeks. I sort of fell into it but I have learned a lot and had tons of fun.

 We are doing a variation of a nine patch square. You make the square and then cut them in half both ways and shuffle them to make a different design. It is really quite cool and not as much work as you would think.

 So I have some sewing "homework" to get done before Saturday morning. I am really excited about how it is coming out. My corners certainly look better.
