Sam's Sinus Surgery

Good Morning Sam!Sam playing with his anesthesia mask. They let him make it smell good with raspberry/mango chapstick on the inside.Just a great grin.Momma and SammyDaddy and SammyShowing off his 'cool' bracelets.
Sam had his sinus surgery today. He did really well. The surgery was quick and easier than the first. But he had some issues waking up for the anesthesia. He did really good with everything though and was a model patient. The pictures progress from our arrival through to getting situated at home. He has been pretty hyper the last few days and was nervous this morning. He will be camping out on the couch for tomorrow and should be all set to head for school on Wednesday. I love him so and he really had me worried when he was taking so long with waking up. Well that is the update. Love ya All
Poor Boy. The pain meds were taking a bit to kick in.
Sam's IV and pulse meter. He did like the dinosaurs.Made it home to the couch, but needed to use the old ice in a surgical glove trick to help with some of the pain and bleeding. About 15 minutes ago. He is tried but doing better. He is all set on the couch and has his appetite back.

Oh, the poor little guy!!! Sinus surgery so young... ouch! But I'm glad the pain meds were kicking in eventually. And I'm glad it went smoothly!!! I tell ya - we're going to have to ask Heavenly Father what the deal is with sinus issues and why we have so MANY of them, once we get over there... here's to a speedy recovery (and lots of ice gloves, probably) for Sam!
